Hi everyone,

I work in business development at iZotope, a Boston based audio software company. We primarily have developer end user applications and OEM/3rd party libraries based on audio DSP (digital signal processing) technology we have developed.

We have been getting contacted by developers creating interesting audio based applications, and have been working with them on a one by one basis. Based on this interest, I am trying to determine if there is a larger market need for more sophisticated audio processing technology on the iPhone and iPod touch platforms than is currently in the Apple SDKs.

In that regard, I would like to hear from you if you if you are a developer that is working (or have worked) with an application that uses or processes audio and have ideas about the types of functionality that might be useful to you such as volume normalization, echo cancellation, time/pitch stretch, effects (reverb, distortion, echo, etc.), noise suppression, vocal enhancement, etc.

If you do have any thoughts, suggestions or feedback, please send them to me at iPhoneBizDev at izotope.com

Thanks,
Peter
